Sleep Consultation & Therapy
I provide evidence-based behavioral sleep assessment and intervention for children, teens, and adults with identified medical complexity or neurodevelopmental differences who are struggling with falling asleep, staying asleep, or managing sleep. Treatment begins with a detailed sleep history and assessment of environmental, behavioral, and medical factors. Together, we develop an individualized plan using strategies to support and optimize healthy, consistent sleep. Actigraphy services are available to provide a data-based picture of your or your child’s sleep. I also help families with infants, children, teens, or adults successfully use CPAP/BiPAP therapy as prescribed by their medical team.
Behavioral Consultation & Therapy
Behavioral consultation focuses on understanding why certain behaviors occur and developing individualized, practical strategies for change. I begin with a functional assessment that looks at the medical and developmental history of the person, environmental triggers, communication needs, and skill deficits. Using developmental, behavioral, and cognitive-behavioral principles, I provide step-by-step guidance that families and care teams can use in everyday settings to promote success and reduce barriers or challenges.
Caregiver or Provider Consultation
Some families or professionals seek short-term or collaborative guidance rather than ongoing treatment. These consultations offer focused support for concerns such as developing or adjusting a behavior plan or intervention strategy for a specific challenge, troubleshooting barriers to successful toileting and independence, or giving expert guidance to a team. This service can also be used as a second opinion for recommendations by other professionals. Sessions are designed to clarify priorities, outline effective next steps, and build confidence in managing behavioral or developmental needs.Ready to Take the Next Step?
