Services
At KDS Psychological Services, my goal is to provide clear, evidence-based guidance that helps individuals and families understand complex behavioral, developmental, and sleep concerns. I work primarily with children and teens—especially those with neurodevelopmental or medical differences—to uncover what’s driving challenges and create practical, achievable plans for meaningful progress. For adults with neurodevelopmental differences, I also offer behavioral sleep medicine services.

Overview

I offer specialized psychological services designed to bring clarity, direction, and support. Each service begins with a collaborative conversation to understand your goals and history, followed by a structured assessment or consultation process. My approach emphasizes compassion, transparency, and actionable recommendations that empower clients and families to move forward with confidence.

Diagnostic Evaluations

Diagnostic Evaluations

Comprehensive or targeted evaluations help clarify questions about autism, ADHD, learning, or cognitive differences. Each assessment uses validated, research-based tools and interviews to provide a clear picture of strengths, needs, and next steps. The goal is to move beyond a label—to help families understand how a person learns, relates, and thrives, and to connect them with the right supports, recommendations, and educational planning.

Behavioral Sleep Medicine

Behavioral Sleep Medicine

For children, teens, and adults struggling with falling asleep, staying asleep, or managing sleep around medical or developmental conditions, I provide evidence-based behavioral sleep interventions. Treatment begins with a detailed sleep history and assessment of environmental, behavioral, and medical factors. Together, we develop an individualized plan using behavioral strategies—such as gradual bedtime adjustments, relaxation training, and caregiver coaching—to support healthy, consistent sleep patterns. Actigraphy services are also available to provide a data-based picture of your child’s sleep patterns.

Behavioral Consultation

Behavioral Consultation

Behavioral consultation focuses on understanding why certain behaviors occur and developing individualized, practical strategies for change. I begin with a functional assessment that looks at environmental triggers, communication, and skill deficits. Using applied behavior analysis (ABA) and cognitive-behavioral principles, I provide step-by-step guidance that families and care teams can use in everyday settings to promote adaptive behavior and reduce challenges.

Parent or Provider Consultation

Parent or Provider Consultation

Some families or professionals seek short-term or collaborative guidance rather than ongoing treatment. These consultations offer focused support for specific concerns—such as developing a behavior plan, supporting a child’s sleep, or coordinating care between providers. Sessions are designed to clarify priorities, outline effective next steps, and build confidence in managing behavioral or developmental needs.
